Terms of Service

The agreement for using Medux media tools and integrations, managing your account, and purchasing subscriptions or credits.

Last updated:

1. Using Medux

These terms govern your use of Medux, operated by Shanghai Lingzhiyu Technology Co., Ltd., including the website, Workshop, Playground, APIs, MCP integrations, CLI access, subscriptions, and credits. Read them before creating an account or purchasing services. If you act for an organization, you must be authorized to accept terms on its behalf.

Use the service only where you can enter a valid agreement. Minors need the authorization and supervision required by applicable law. Our Privacy Policy describes how information is handled.

2. Accounts and access credentials

Provide accurate account information and keep access to your sign-in email secure. You are responsible for activity authorized through your account and for managing people or systems to which you give access. Protect verification codes, session tokens, and API keys.

Report suspected compromise promptly and disable exposed API keys. Do not sell access, misrepresent another person’s identity, or use accounts to bypass service limits or payment requirements.

3. Your content and permissions

You retain the rights you already hold in submitted content. You authorize the processing and delivery needed to perform your requests, including processing by the providers used for a selected capability. You must hold the necessary rights in prompts, source files, faces, voices, logos, and other materials you submit.

Get appropriate permission before cloning a person’s face or voice, or creating content that depicts them. Editing or removing a mark does not give you ownership of the underlying material. Any use of outputs remains subject to applicable law, third-party rights, and relevant provider restrictions.

AI results can be inaccurate, unsuitable, or similar to other content. Review outputs before relying on, publishing, or distributing them. Medux does not guarantee that a result is unique, eligible for copyright protection, or cleared for every intended use.

4. Responsible use of the service

  • Follow applicable law and respect intellectual property, privacy, and personality rights.
  • Do not use the service for fraud, deceptive impersonation, harassment, exploitation, or unlawful content.
  • Do not attempt to compromise systems, obtain another user’s files or credentials, or bypass safeguards.
  • Do not abuse trial allowances, manipulate billing, or evade rate limits.
  • Follow capability-specific restrictions and any terms that apply to your selected third-party integrations.

5. Purchases and credits

Prices, included credits, billing periods, usage charges, and limits are shown on the relevant pricing or purchase screen. Check the account and purchase details before completing payment through an official payment flow. Rates for future purchases or usage may change with the notice required by applicable law.

Purchased credits are for eligible Medux services. They cannot be transferred between accounts, exchanged for cash, or refunded, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Trial, plan, and top-up credits can have different validity and usage rules. Consult the purchase details and your account’s credit records. Credits are consumed according to the relevant capability’s billing rules; a particular output quality or subjective preference is not guaranteed.

6. Subscriptions and cancellation

A recurring subscription renews according to the billing period and price presented during purchase unless renewal is canceled. Manage the subscription in Billing. The current cancellation flow stops renewal at the end of the active billing period, while the current plan remains active until then.

Canceling renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier payment. Any subscription refund is subject to the purchase terms and applicable law. Contact [email protected] about a disputed charge, duplicate payment, or refund request. Plan changes, credit expiry, and any prorated charges follow the details presented for that change.

7. Task results and service availability

Tools depend on technical infrastructure and, for some capabilities, third-party models. Requests can fail, take longer than expected, or be unavailable during maintenance or provider interruptions. Features, supported models, and limits may change over time.

Results and reusable assets have retention and expiry rules. Check the notices in your account and download important files while they are available. Keep your own copies of source materials and outputs; the service is not a permanent archive.

8. Restrictions and account closure

We may restrict requests or suspend access when needed to address unlawful use, serious violations, security issues, or payment abuse. Actions and any notices will be handled in accordance with applicable law. Contact support if you believe a restriction is mistaken.

Account deletion ends access to that account and its benefits. Unused purchased credits are subject to the credit rules above. Before requesting deletion, download needed files and resolve any active subscription or billing questions with support.

9. Risks and responsibilities

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or that generated content will satisfy a particular purpose. You are responsible for assessing your intended use and ensuring submitted and distributed content is lawful.

Neither these terms nor a service limitation excludes liability or remedies that applicable law does not allow to be excluded. Mandatory consumer protections remain applicable.

10. Changes, disputes, and contact

Updates to these terms will be published here, with notice or further acceptance when required. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

Mainland Chinese law governs this agreement, subject to mandatory local protections. First contact us to try to resolve a dispute by discussion. Unresolved disputes are submitted to a competent people’s court in Yangpu District, Shanghai, unless applicable mandatory law requires a different forum.
